CHOCOLATE BUTTER MOCHI

A local Hawaiian favorite that is soft, chewy, and highly addicting

to snack on!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup mochiko flour

  • 1 3⁄4 cup sugar

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • 1⁄2 cup melted butter, cooled

  • 6 oz milk

  • 6 oz coconut milk

  • 3 large eggs

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13in. pan and set aside.

  2. In a bowl, add mochiko flour and sugar. Add sifted baking powder and cocoa powder. Whisk together.

  3. Add milk, coconut milk, eggs, and cooled butter. Mix thoroughly until no lumps remain.

  4. Pour batter in pan and bake for 1 hour.

  5. Cut into desired squares.
